Ona, I am SO glad you got to come see Mom and Dad. That is priceless! It really means a lot to me that you came! YEA for you! I think that no recliner is good, too. I also agree with the DNR orders. They asked the day Pat and I filled out papers, and that was a decision we couldn't make. It needs to be all of us in on that. We can think about it until April. Geez----that's not far off, is it! YIKES! LNC called tonight to say that the doc had ordered some blood work for Dad because of some med he takes. The doc also had prescribed seraquil (don't have a clue how this is spelled! sorry!) for Mom at night---25 mg. I told her that that was fine. I had no problem with them helping her sleep, but that I don't want her zombied all day long. Judy checked with Leisa and said Leisa said it would be fine. They also told me that the doc had added a new diagnosis of 'dementia disorders' for Mom. Well, DUH! Didn't we already have/know that! LOL! Surely they're not just now figuring that one out! A tad slow in the observation field if that's the case! Anyway, I'm so glad we're doing this blog!
