Jerry , Addison, and I went to LNC this afternoon. Jeanie had been to see them earlier and was not happy about how they were. I'm sure she'll post later about her visit. Anyway, Mother seemed okay. She was sitting in the waiting area with some other women . She absolutely loved Addison and just talked and talked to her. It was so cute. Addison is so precious, so she just smiled and smiled at Mother. On the other hand, Dad was not good. When we were walking down the hall he was at the end in his wheelchair and I yelled at him, but he acted like he didn't know who we were. He was not alert at all. He thought another lady was mother. He just sat there and then he said "I'm going to bed". It was about 4:30 at the time. He did not know where his room was. I took him in there and had Jerry come help him in bed. There's no way he could have done it on his own. Anyway, he went sound asleep. I talked to the nurse to see how he'd been today and she seemed to think he was fine. I don't know - he may have just been really tired. Jeanie, it was kind of like that day that Dorothy called and said she couldn't wake him up. He was zonked! I thought his color was not good, but then that may have been exhaustion too. Who knows. I know they're going to have good days and bad days and you never know what you're going to find when you get there. It's just a very hard situation, but at least they're not alone! It's just sad for them to be so old and not active. I just think they should still be like they always were and they're not. Of course, none of the rest of us are either! Maybe I should just speak for myself! hee hee! Okay, got to get to packing. Love you, pat
