Lakeside Nursing Center (hereafter---LNC!) called me today. Dad had hit his hand while in the cafeteria/feeding room, and his hand had a laceration. Nothing serious, but they had to call! Anyway, I asked her how they were today. She said they were sitting there by the nurses' station at the end of their hall. (It was about 4:30 or 5:00 this afternoon) I said something about Dad being so tired all last week. She kind of laughed and said it was because he 'walked' his wheelchair all day long chasing after Mrs. Margaret! I really figure that that is why he's more tired, too. If you think about it, Dad really hasn't gotten much exercise at all the last few years---practically none the last year for sure! He himself said he'd 'walked' 300 miles the day Judy and I were there! That would wear me out for sure! I also asked if Mom was in the wheelchair today or up on her feet. She goes, no, she's in the wheelchair. I guess that's kind of a permanent thing for Mom, too. I'm going down there tomorrow to check on them. Jamie, as for your questions.
