I don't like that the blog has been a downer the last few days either, but I know it is reallity. I'm just hoping that Pam gets a good feeling about them today when she goes. As for the head nurse not being as approachable, that is where the Administrator could intervene. We can't let her intimidate us, as we are the ones in charge right now since Mom and Dad can't be. Jamie could always call in Jerry!LOL Maybe this is just the "settling in" period. At first it was new and exciting in a weird sort of way maybe to them and now it's the norm. I just hope Dad is getting his tobacco and coffee and the tv on! That should be all the stimulating Dad would want. Mom on the other hand could never participate in a group!~ She loves the one on one attention too. I wish a staff member would "adopt" them and spend time with them like that. Time will tell I guess. I know how hard all of this is on all of us~ Makes me want to hurl!!! As for snow, Pat it snowed at church this morning! It was beautiful to be in church with the awesome windows and see the snow falling. Weird it's spring and almost Easter though! And better yet, NO accumulation! Be careful driving home! Love, Judy
