Jerry and I went to see Mom and Dad this morning. They were both sitting in the little waiting area in their wheelchairs. They were both clean and alert. In fact, Mother said she wanted to walk so I walked with her all the way down one hall and back. She goes really slow, but we made it. We wheeled them both down to the dining room and stayed there for a while. Jeanie, I did remember Dad's shoes today! I also took some ziploc sandwich bags and fixed Dad a few small bags of tobacco. One of the ladies said that he asked for it yesterday, so maybe he's figuring it out. Of course, Mother was talking on and on about whatever, but I just nod and say yes.
