I agree we did have a wonderful life at home...I have so many great memories! I remember the new clothes at Easter as well, but my favorite memory is walking to church on Easter Sunday with dye stains on my fingers from coloring eggs and the daffodils in bloom all along the route. Mom always made ham and deviled eggs and Fern's coconut creme pie..sometimes those buttery yeast rolls...Mom was such a great cook! Today was a good day for me...I went to lunch with some of my former Madigan ladies and we wound up eating and talking for over 3 hours. So good to see them and catch up on how much they miss me!haha I hope you all survived the horrible weather that hit Arkansas today...wow, one big storm!! We've had rain...shocking, I know, today, but then the sun tried to come out and it wasn't too bad! Jerome said they'd had quite a bit of rain in Murray, but no bad weather!! I worry about my barn!:) Ok, off to shower and finish up some laundry and try to get to bed early...transportation appointment at 8:45 in the morning!!
