Went to LNC this morning. They were both in the big room - Mother sound asleep in her wheelchair. At first, I thought Dad was going to be totally out of it, but he got better. He looked at me one time and said, "I'm about ready to go home - I've been gone a long time." That really gets to me! I keep telling myself that he was talking about going home from the casino, which he talked on and off about. Linda was the nurse today and that's the first time I've met her. She seemed nice. She checked Dad's sugar while I was there and it was 165. There was also another girl there that I hadn't met. She had talked to Pam yesterday. She said, "You look more like your Dad!" ya think? I really did today because I had no make-up on and my hair looked horrible! We probably looked about the same age! Oh, well, if the shoe fits wear it! hee hee! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for Molli! She wrote a comment on one of Jeanie's entries. Okay, I'm fixing to watch the race and then make a chicken pot pie and cherry cobbler. love you, pat
