Ok, I went to see Mom and Dad today. They were ok. Dad looked really good and ate everything on his plate. He told me that he thought they were about ready to move. No idea where! Mom was asleep all during lunch. She ate everything, but she had her eyes closed. The girl feeding her was great. She was SO patient and kind talking. What we need is a good way for Mom to drink. She chews on a straw and nothing will come up. The sippy cup didn't work---spout is just too short since she won't lean her head back. With a regular cup, she bites instead of sips. She needs a hard straw. I'm going to look online at some of the medical sites that have supplies for physically challenged people! I went by the bank and the check has NOT cleared! I called LNC and she assured me that she had run the check through---that she herself had done so! I told her it was SO important that it clear by tomorrow and could she please call their bank to check on it. She's suppose to in the morning and call me back. I'll call her and Dad's bank again tomorrow. If it doesn't clear his Medicaid will be in suspension for the month of April, too!!!!!!! More red tape! YUCK! On a brighter note, I did get their taxes picked up today and filed! They owed nothing, but the guy charged me $100 for doing them. He's the same guy who did them last year, and last year he charged them $174. That was nice of him to cut the price. Anyway, more POA signings again today! Geez Louise! I really don't like all of this 'signing' stuff at all! Anyway, I'm filing things and clearing my desk. I need a secretary BAD!!!!!!! Love you all, Jeanie
