I hope everything goes great for everyone today!! There's definitely a lot on everyone's plate!! Pat let us know about your doctors appointment and Jeanie and Judy about your visit with Mom and Dad. It is a sad situation for Mom and Dad and us, but because there are no other options, we must just do everything we can to make this situation the best it can be. I don't know if Dad means home to Jonesboro or back to his room...my guess is somewhere in the back of his mind he remembers the Poplar house or the Gideon house, but it's just a confusing memory...like the casino, or a train trip to Indiana or smoking cigarettes....I know when he says things like that, it stabs you in the heart! It hurts just reading it.. we can't help, change or go back to what was, we can only work to make what is the best it can be for them! As we've all said so many times...if we live long enough, this will be us someday and our children will be talking about these same issues. I personally hope I don't know what the heck is going on...too depressing for me if I do know. For this moment we have them...good, bad, somewhere in between...and that is a blessing for us.
