Jeanie, Bruce and I went to see Mom and Dad this morning. It was about 11 when we got there. Dad was asleep in his wheelchair but awakened pretty easy and said "I had a good nap". He's still talking nonsense a lot and said something about a Lt. Col giving him something, something about Japan, etc. He asked me about how the boys were. I really thinks I'm Jamie a lot--not sure why cause we're not looking alike. I'm WAY older looking!lol Mom was asleep too when we got there but they did get her up. She's soooooo not the Mother she was in the hospital a couple weeks ago! She had her eyes about half open most of the time and completely closed the other. A couple of times she did say "I don't know" and did that squinty grin and shrugged shoulders that I love a few times too. Jeanie got her a couple of the small Hershey candybars and I fed them to her and she ate them both. I say go for candy whenever you can!lol I tried telling Dad about Kentucky winning the basket ball game last night but he didn't seem interested really. I said it again before we left and asked him if he wanted Kentucky to win and he said "Well, yeah" like that was a stupid question!lol He did say "there's Bruce". Jeanie asked him if he was going to Physical Therapy and walking and he said yeah and he was walking like 20 miles. He said Mom sleeps a lot too and also that she eats a lot, so obviously he is observing some. He did say she ignores you most of the time which I'm sure is true. They were both clean though and Mom's hair is longer and looks so pretty. It has so much body! I told Dad that Pam would be there tomorrow and I was sure Pat would be by soon. He said yeah Pat comes a lot. All in all, not a bad visit but nothing fun to report! Love to all, Judy
