I did call today to ask 'what next?', and Beth said that Chad was going to file an appeal. She said it would be probably 30 to 60 days before they'd do the phone call conference, but there's nothing for me to do except wait until they call (they as in Chad's office). Hey, if it works out where we have to come up with the money, we'll just do it. I don't know the why's or what's if we don't---I will ask though. In the meantime, I thought this afternoon, I wonder if Mom is on Medicare payment right now since she was in the hospital for 3 nights. I need to ask. I called Michael Smith and told him I'd talked to Beth and she said fine to send him some money. I sent $5000 for Dad and $1000 for Mom. They both had this in their trust accts. I need to ask about spending down the rest of Dad's. Anyway, we'll just wait and see for now.

Ok, I'm fixing to sit for a spell. I've had Maggie all day---from 8:30 until 7:15---and she was precious. I'm going back to get her tomorrow for the same time period. Jeremy and Fara are in Atlanta for a Stevie Nix and Rod Stewart concert. They'll be back about 3:00 Fri. Fara's Mom is spending the night with the girls each night. Love you all, Jeanie
