Jamie, bless your heart! I don't do well with the emotional stuff---I cry WAY too easily! Good grief! It has got to be bad if you know BEFORE you even leave you'll cry! Isn't that good though that the memories and the feelings of accomplishments are that strong! The good news is that this isn't coming at a permanent good-bye: AKA funeral! Now THAT would be SAD! This just has so much 'change' attached to all of it! You have got to be SO proud of Jerry, you, your whole fam and all you all have been through! Congratulations to all of you! You did it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom and Dad were ok. They weren't horrible and they weren't great, but they were ok. Dad was so clean and looked really good. He was pretty confused: kept talking about winning a $400 jackpot, the big snowfall, etc. Hey, at least they're good memories! He'd been looking for the girls this morning, Nikki said. I laughed because he kept asking where's Judy. LOL! He was actually looking for Jamie though we think. He said something about the playground. Pretty confused. Mom was awake sleeping. She has her eyes shut, but she's not asleep. She ate good. Judy kept saying I was choking her, but she wanted the food and I was going to feed it to her! There was a guy down there today that was in charge of operations for the nursing home---Michael Smith's boss. He came over and asked about the food and their appetites and if Dad was a veteran. He was nice. There was also a man from DHS there. I didn't hear him, but Judy said she heard him ask were was James Shelton. Becky was with him and she pointed Dad out. He'd been asking about different people prior to that. Why? Who knows! Ok, I'm off to work in the purple room. I think Judy and I are going to have a yard sale at her house the weekend of the 19th. I also want to start quilting Mimi Shelton's quilt top. I think I'm going to try it! We'll see. Paint a quilt block. Remove the popcorn ceiling in the laundry room. Start my albums for the kids! LOL! LOTS of stuff I want to do! Love you all, Jeanie
