I talked to Leisa about Dad and without seeing him, reading his chart, etc., her BEST guess is that it's a viral infection--probably viral bronchitis or viral upper respiratory.  She said if it is viral, there really isn't anything you can do but treat the symptoms, i.e. cough syrup, tylenol, etc.  These are the exact things they're giving him now.  We'll just have to watch and see I guess at this point.  If he starts running a fever, starts hacking up stuff, then we can go with asking for another chest xray or blood work again.  It's a puzzle for sure!
