I hate when I get on here and it seems like the whole thing has gone to hell in a hand-basket with Mom and Dad! Ok, it will be a week today (7 days) since my request for a urine sample---I asked last Thurs. There is NO way it should take that long for anything--period! The fact they have no results back on the x-ray confirm what I said originally---he didn't need one. IF he'd had a broken hip, we'd be done by now with Dad---he'd be a goner! As to the clothes, I have NO idea. I threw away a huge garbage bag of stained ugly clothes that Mom had NO reason to have on her body! I don't think LNC has gotten worse. This is pretty much the way it is in nursing homes, as I understand it. Moving them has come up with me before. The reason is they would be less than 5 minutes from here. Right now with all the Medicaid stuff going on that's not really an option for so many reasons for me. I hate all this and hate that I/we have to be the eyes and ears for Dad on UTI's when that's what they're trained to do! GRRRR!!!! is right on all of the above! Love you all, Jeanie
