If I go with Jerry and drive the u haul, of course Jason will have the Volvo and we'll share it after I fly back to Fort Lewis...not fun...so I might try and buy a vehicle while in Murray and drive back cross country by myself. We're trying not to buy a vehicle here because we'd have to license it in Tennessee(our home of record) and then because Jerry will no longer be active duty Army in July, we'd have to pay again to reregister it in KY...as it is the tags on the Suburban and the Volvo are due in May...we're probably going to have to pay to renew and then turn around and register and tag them in Ky in July anyway....CRAZY! I need to get on the phone with someone and find out if there's something that can be done so we can avoid this...Jason recommended playing dumb and just ignore everything until we get to KY! I can't do that, my luck I'd get pulled over and pay a triple fine or something that would wind up being more than if I'd just done what I was suppose to do...JUJU!! What we may do is register the Suburban in Kentucky...since Jerry will be there in March and go ahead and renew the Tennessee tags for the Volvo and hopefully be able to be ok in KY until next May when the tags can be registered in KY. The Volvo has turned pretty ghetto though...much like the old Chrysler I drove in Oklahoma! Someone stole the tiny windshield wipers off the lights in the front so there are just rusty little stubs left, the sun roof rattles so loud when you drive it makes you grit your teeth, the arm rest inside has no leather left on it, Jason's friends have drawn pictures and things in the felt on the inside of the roof...you can imagine what! (Jerry got in it the other day and was trying to "erase" a giant penis! I cracked up listening to him gripe about it!) and now there's a huge dent in the back side door to go along with all the smaller dents that happened while slipping and sliding into the side of the garage door in Fort Drum during numerous blizzards...I'm embarrassed to drive the stupid thing, but she runs like a dream!!:) Why do I always wind up with these trailer trash vehicles? It's really funny I think, especially since I'm so particular about things...Whatever!! Ok, I'm off to get dressed in my full rain gear and go run errands...this weather here is the pits!!!
