I went to LNC today to check on Mom and Dad. They were both in bed asleep! They both looked good---so clean and resting, etc. I talked to the two girls that really seem to like Mom and Dad for quite a while. They were both so upset over Dad falling! The one said she'd told them to let him sleep and not get him up if he's sleeping. She said that when she's worked over that Dad will stay up with her the whole time! Anyway, they were so nice. They told me today he was really tired and didn't want to get up for lunch. They tried twice and he'd just pull the cover back over himself. They finally just went to get his tray and brought it to him. They said he ate about 50% of his lunch and drank about 50% of his fluids. The one said that she asks for them to give him the ground up chicken, etc because she knows how hard it is for him to eat with just top teeth. I told her I'd bring the bottom ones down there before lunch Mon if they were ready in time. Anyway, they genuinely seemed concerned and caring about them. Mom had had a shower today and was in a really good mood they'd said. Anyway, it was nice to get such a good positive feeling from those two women. Ok, off to sew. Love you all, Jeanie
