Judy, so glad you made it and that Logan is so cute!!   I asked Jerry about the insurance and the appetite stimulant and the fact that Nikki told Pat that.  Jerry said if the insurance had suddenly decided to not cover it anymore, we would have gotten some sort of notice..letter or call or something, not a floor nurse informing us of this.  I will check on this tomorrow when I go and I agree that we can just buy it if needed...maybe even give a little to Dad!!  I'm sorry,but at this point anything Nikki says is BS until I hear otherwise!  I am also going to check on where Alvin's room is also...IS it there right next to Mom and Dad's?  If so, I'll pitch a fit about that to MS and get that fixed.   Alzheimer's is a horrible disease...bottom line.  We just have to deal with it as is..try to remember the good from the past and not think of the future any further out than 24 hours or your next visit.  Sometimes a little head burying is a good coping skill...doesn't mean you don't hurt or wish for a different circumstance, it just means you have to do a little something to be able to still function and have joy in your life. Mom loved us..we all know that.  Can't wait to see them tomorrow....I'll post tomorrow when I get home...Love you all,  Jamie
