I went to check on Mother and Daddy at lunch today.  Daddy was pretty alert and looked good.  He did not eat his lunch.  He said he wasn't hungry because he'd been snacking all morning.  One of the girls asked me about getting another kind of chair for Mother so that she would be more comfortable.  I told her to go ahead.  She showed me what she was talking about and I agree that it will be much better for Mom.  She will have something to support her head and legs.  She can't be comfortable the way she is!  Anyway, we'll see.  I told her that we just didn't want Mother laying back and sleeping all the time.  She assured me she wouldn't be.  She also said that it wasn't because she was declining or anything like that.  They just felt that she would be more comfortable.  One of the girls also told me that Mother had only been eating about half of her food the last 2 days.  We need to be sure and continue to check on that.  Everybody get well and stay safe! love you, pat
