Jerry and I went to LNC this morning.  Dad was asleep all covered up in bed.  Mother was in the big room in her chair.  I talked to Nikkie and she said Dad had good days and bad.  Duh!  She said he finished his meds. on Wed. and that they had some tests ordered for him.   It just gets harder and harder to go there and see them like they are.  They are both really pitiful right now, and it's really heartbreaking to see.   I know neither one of them would want to be like they are, but we don't have a choice to end our lives like we'd like to.  It's just sad.  love you, pat
