Here's a weird piece of news! Mom has a credit at the Omnicare Pharmacy that supplies drugs to LNC. Well, they were the ones who had Mom owing over $1100 at one point and finally got it down to a little over $190. I sent that in and got another bill showing that she owed a little over $160 instead. Well, I kept thinking they'd issue a refund---NO. I called today and they will not issue one as long as Mom's in the nursing home! I'm like: what if it's 5 more years?! Still won't! They'll continue to send me a statement each month showing the credit, but won't issue a refund! The refund is $31.34!!!! Is that nuts or what! Hey, they'll spend that and more in letters, envelopes and postage over a small period of time! I swear, the more I deal with stuff like this----the more amazed I am by it all!
