I also went to see Mom and Dad. Cary and I got there about 2:15 and they both were sound asleep. They had Mom propped up in the bed, why?, and I bet it was 100 degrees in their room. They had the heat on! Got that taken care of. Didn't get to talk to Nikki. The shift changes @ 2. so she was already gone, and the new person said as far as she knew all was well with them. Dad is still on the antibiotic. They looked good and clean. I'm hoping to make it over there on another day this week, so maybe I can catch them awake. Hope you all have a great week. Love, Pam

Okay, first of all, so upset that Kentucky lost! Boo hoo!!! I was so hoping they might win it all! Jerry and I went to see Mom and Dad this morning. They were both asleep in their wheelchairs. I woke Dad up and he looked really good. I couldn't really understand most of what he said. He did say, "Where's Judy?" I told him she was at home. A lady that works there said she thought Dad looked so young for his age. She said her husband was 70 and he looked older than Dad! hee hee! He does look good when he's feeling okay. Mother, on the other hand, never woke up and just stayed slumped in her wheelchair. It's hard to see her like that. Nikki said Dad's sugar had been fine. It was 142 when she checked it while I was there. I got him some coffee and he seemed fine. I just never have gotten used to seeing them there and like they are. I still just picture them at home sitting on the porch drinking coffee. I guess that's just how I want to remember them. Oh, by the way, Jeanie, I asked Nikki about Mrs. Emison and she said that she died. I kind of figured that since I haven't seen her for awhile. sad . love you, pat

Jamie, is rain better than snow? I thought I heard on the radio that your part of the country was getting snow. I personally would prefer the snow but then I love the cold weather sooooo much better than the hot. Speaking of weather, is ours in Arkansas weird or is it just me? I had the heater on with a jacket one day and the very next, air conditioner, short sleeves and sweating! Go figure! It's gorgeous out today for most people with tons of sun but kinda hot for my taste! Frank, Brittney and boys went to Redfield to spend the night with his parents and Frank and boys will go out fishing tomorrow with Jack on the Arkansas River. I'm driving down tomorrow late for a fishfry. Maybe it won't be too bad!lol Frank's Mom said he could use one of their 2 cars while they're here but then proceeded to tell him she needed it Wednesday! I'm thinking I'm taking him back to Redfield to get the car, then he can spend the night the next Tues, let her go to work with the car on Wed, and then him drive it back over here for the next week. We'll see how this plays out!lol His truck is already in route to Texas but currently on a ship headed to Seattle. From there it goes by train, the semi truck. He's hoping to have it before the middle of April. If he does, he's getting it, driving it here, hooking up to Dean's trailer that I gave him that is in storage at his Dad's and then hauling all of the stuff they have at my house and head to El Paso. Good grief, to be young!lol Jamie hang in there! It has to be so hard for you but you're doing what you have to for Jason. OMG! I can't even imagine Bruce and one child gone to sunshine and new house---me at home in rain with another! You're a good woman Charlie Brown! Hey, the good news is that the two of them will have things 'cookin' while you're waiting to arrive---kind of like in the olden days when they're waiting for the mail-order bride to arrive! LOL! It will be so nice when you can all arrive and enjoy! Catfish cooking over an open fire in the backyard---sounds good to me! Hopefully Jerome and Jerry will catch them the normal way and not snorkel them out with a gig! LOL! Anyway, I'm glad they're there and getting with it! The sun is attempting to show through the clouds this morning, but it won't last long...the rain is in the next cloud over!! OMG this place is so depressing...how people stay here for years and years I don't know!! Talked to Jerry and Jerome several times yesterday! They got the U haul emptied and everything made it great they said...Jerry was hooking up the TV and they had done a load of laundry. Jerome had gotten some groceries and made a trip to Walmart for some things...I guess that's official...they've moved in!! Today was business day..trying to get some loose ends tied up on things and probably a trip to Lowes to start a shopping list and then tomorrow is play day! I guess it's suppose to be like 78 and sunny! Jerry met 2 neighbors that live across the street...they have a 4 and 9 year old I think he said. Their son likes to fish in the pond that's on the 5 acres and Jerry told he and the Dad anytime they wanted to fish just come over. That pond is catfish...lots of catfish! I'm so ready to be there I can't even tell you. I'm really just kind of depressed about the whole thing! Oh well, can't be helped! So glad that check cleared...at least that it SOME positive news! Ok, going to go pop an advil...I've wrenched my upper back/lower neck...moving boxes, lifting heavy stuff wrong, sleeping weird, combination...not sure, but it's bugging me! Jason has a science fair at Pacific Lutheran University today and I'm back in the basement...one of us is getting the short straw today!! Love you all, Jamie

Thank goodness that stupid check cleared or it would end up costing an additional $1500 or so! Stupid!!! If you can empty out a music store and hauled and cleaned then you are in SO much better shape than me that it's no wonder I call you Whinny!lol You ARE a work horse!lol Beautiful day out, so I'm going out to read my book.
